Ring Cameras Play Active Part in Resolving Investigations in Buffalo

Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to thank the residents of the City of Buffalo for playing active roles in recent law enforcement by being good witnesses and sharing camera footage.

The BPD Chief was quick to thank residents who came forward and said many civilians may not understand the vital role they play when they witness an action that could be related to ongoing investigations.

The recent case involved suspects from Gillette who allegedly stole four vehicles and firearms before being apprehended. A break in the case came when a resident shared video footage from a ring camera.

The investigation is ongoing, but it was due to the cooperation of residents that provided the BPD with their first big lead. 

Although a small city, the Buffalo Chief of Police encouraged residents and visitors to remain aware of their surroundings, lock their vehicles, secure firearms and report suspicious activity promptly.
