Democrats Block Barrasso’s Energy Security Bill
Senate Democrats on Tuesday blocked passage of U.S. Senator John Barrasso’s (R-WY) energy security bill. Barrasso said Democrats blocked an opportunity to stand up to Putin, help our European allies, and strengthen America’s energy security by saying no to a bill that our European allies have asked for to help them escape Russia’s energy trap.
Barrasso said due to high energy costs Russian oil and gas revenues exceeded initial plans this past year, totaling $119 billion.
Barrasso’s Energy Security Cooperation with Allied Partners in Europe, or ESCAPE Act, would expedite the export of American liquefied natural gas to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries and defense allies. Barrasso said the United States – especially Wyoming – has abundant natural gas supplies, we just need to be allowed to produce it.

IF the repubs win congress, will you submit it again? I won’t hold my breath.

If you are adamant about bashing people…why don’t you and your pals go after oil companies that have been exporting crude oil to other countries…for years?

How does it benefit the American to export our resources to Europe because they made very poor energy choices? Should the typical American pay double their heating costs and $10!- gallon for gas because Germany foolishly decided to shut down their nuclear and coal plants Senator?
