Governor Gordon Announces Next Phase of Transition

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon held a news conference Thursday to provide an update to the State’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Next Phase of Transition

Governor Gordon, during the news briefing, addressed the three current public health orders that are set to expire on May 15, and explained what the next phase of transition in Wyoming will look like.

Governor Gordon said that they will also look at whether it is appropriate to modify Public Health Order #2 to allow for larger gatherings.

Governor Gordon also reported that the statewide supply of personal protective equipment, or PPE, has improved considerably over the past two weeks, and that counties throughout Wyoming are now well supplied.
