During my conversation with former Sheridan resident Stevie Hill-Bovis, she described what life is like under the stay-at-home order that’s in place in the state of New York.
Hill-Bovis compared the surreal scene in New York to being in a movie.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, the first case of COVID-19 in the U.S. was identified in the state of Washington on January 21. By mid March, the virus had spread from several isolated clusters in Washington, California and New York, to all 50 states. The number of confirmed cases worldwide Thursday surpassed 1.5 million.
