WebmasterThe 65th Wyoming Legislature is expected to reconvene for a 1 day special session next month to discuss topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Local Representative Mark Kinner said that the short length of the gathering is meant to maximize time and efficiency in general.
Wyoming is set to receive $1.25 billion from the CARES Act appropriations, although it is not entirely clear at this point what those monies could be used for. Representative Kinner made his comments while a recent guest on our news talk show Public Pulse. How much better prepared would our health care system be if Medicaid expansion had been passed by a legislature that has deemed 19000 of our citizens disposable?
