WebmasterSheridan Memorial Hospital has announced that they are very grateful for the over 1,400 homemade cloth masks that they have received to date stating that Sheridan County is a fantastic community. In order to properly keep up with demand to outfit patients and hospital staff providing indirect patient care, the Hospital shared they will need a total of 1,000 masks per week.
To those in the community that can contribute to that goal, mask donations, as well as donations of other personal protective equipment, are being received on weekdays from 9am to noon at their 61 South Gould Street location. Those interested should drop their donations off during that time frame on the Works Street side of the building.

What are they doing with all these masks? All these articles about Sheridan Memorial Hospital make it sound like they’re in the thick of a epidemic but according to all the releases from Wyoming Department of Health everyone who has tested positive in this county has thus far been quarantined at home and doing fine. Guess I don’t care what they are doing with a bunch of homemade masks so why am I writing this ? Hopefully for their own sake they saved some N95’s Incase they actually do have to treat an infected patient and didn’t blow them all in the hysteria of the beginning of this, if they ever did have a stockpile to deal with an influx of contagious patients.
