Ron RichterWyoming Governor Mark Gordon held a news conference Wednesday to provide an update on Wyoming’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Governor said that Monday, 3,900 sample collection kits assembled by the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory were distributed throughout the state.
The Governor said that on Wednesday, he signed a letter requesting a “Disaster Declaration” for Wyoming and the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes.
Gordon also said that over 260 out of state physicians and physician assistants have signed up to provide care to Wyoming patients, and that the Wyoming Board of Medicine is working on the reactivation of licenses held by retired physicians and physician assistants who want to be of help during this incredible time of need.

Thanks for NOT issuing a “Stay-Home” order. We are responsible adults who are fully capable of going about our lives safely, without a gov’t “Order” to stay home. Please look at rescinding the existing business closures as soon as possible, so we can go back to making money. With zero deaths in Wyoming, to date, we’ve proven we can “flatten the curve.” Now let’s not “flatten our economy” any further. Wyoming, forever west, forever Free.
