WebmasterIn response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wyoming Legislature’s Management Council is working on bills to combat the detrimental effect the virus has had on the state. The legislation will likely be voted on by the body as a whole in a special one day session next month. Local Senator Dave Kinskey shared his thoughts on the measures.
Senator Kinskey also said that the money allocated from the federal level through the CARES Act will need to be appropriated in the coming months.
A several day special legislative session to decide how to use the federal funding has been discussed, with an eye towards June or July for that to take place.
