Kinskey Talks Management Council Meeting, Special Session

A week ago, the Wyoming Legislature’s Management Council met for an 11 hour meeting to discuss the next steps that should be taken to address the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the state. Local Senator Dave Kinskey explained who makes up the Management Council and what they do.
If and when a special session is called, Senator Kinskey shared that there will be some technicalities that need to be worked out. Specifically, the rules for calling a special session that are in the Wyoming Constitution.
It is expected that the state Legislators will reconvene for a special session sometime early next month, although that has not been officially confirmed at this time. For more from Senator Kinskey, follow this link https://sheridanmedia.com/media/public-pulse/17397/wednesday-04-22-20/.
