Arvada/Clearmont Schools Closed for Spring Break

Schools in Sheridan County School District 3, which is the Arvada/Clearmont area, are closed this week for spring break.

District 3 Superintendent Charles Auzqui said spring break would ordinarily be in April, but the break was rescheduled to allow a two-week window for the district’s staff to evaluate the situation.

Auzqui said the district is following the guidelines recommended by Governor Mark Gordon, meaning that classes will resume on April 6.

He said the district is doing what it can to take care of the health not only of students but of the district’s staff.
