Seven New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed, Total Rises to 10 in Wyoming

The Wyoming Department of Health issued a news release late Monday night that testing at the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory has identified seven newly reported cases of coronavirus in the state. According to the Department of Health, each of the seven new cases are located in Fremont County, and are directly connected to the first Fremont County case announced on March 13.
The initial case in Fremont County patient is an older man that was a resident of an assisted living center in Lander. No other information on the seven new cases was released by the Department of Health. Their release states that they will continue to follow up regarding exposure risks of the new cases and will work to identify and communicate with anyone who may have been in close contact with them. Known contacts will be monitored for symptoms and tested if needed.
