WebmasterOn Thursday, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon held a news conference to update the citizens of the state on COVID-19, after the first reported case within the borders was announced in Sheridan County. In his opening, Governor Gordon reassured listeners that they have been preparing for a confirmed case of coronavirus.
The Governor went on to speak about events and happenings that draw significant amounts of people and when it would be recommended to strongly consider cancelling or delaying.
Gordon explained that with this being a fluid situation, officials will do all that they can to ensure that transparency is a top priority.
Other speakers at the conference included State Health Officer and Epidemiologist Dr. Alexia Harrist, State Director of Homeland Security Lynn Budd, and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow.
