Sheridan Girls Golf Team Wins 2021 Casper Invitational; Boys Runner-Up

The Sheridan boys golf team had individuals place 3rd, a tie for 4th, and had 3 others in a 3-way tie for 6th, but had to settle for the team runner-up spot at the 2021 Casper Invitational vs. the 2 Casper schools.

Kelly Walsh grabbed 1st, 2nd and a tie for 4th individually, to win by 10 strokes.

Garrett Spielman shot a 2-day score of 161.

Alex Sanders was 1 shot behind at 162, while Sean Sanders, Brock Owings and Kaden Bateson had scores of 165 each.

The Lady Broncs had 6 golfers in the top 10 as they would cruise to a 1st place finish.

Defending 4A girls state champ Samantha Spielman was the individual runner-up with a score of 154.

Libby Gardner and Izzy Laird tied for 4th with a score of 169.

The next scheduled golf meet for Sheridan is Thursday and Friday, September 2nd and 3rd at Buffalo.
