Bighorn Mountain Trail Run 2025: The Bighorn Mountains and the town of Dayton will be a marathon haven today and tomorrow.

The 33rd annual Bighorn Mountain Trail Run will take place as ultramarathoners will compete in races anywhere between 18 and 100 miles long.

Race organizer Michele Maneval says most of the competitors are experienced.

John Storkamp of Hastings, Minnesota is running in his second 100-mile race which starts today.

He says for a race that long, you have to know how to pace yourself.

The 100 mile race starts at 9am today (Friday) at the Tongue River Canyon Campground.

The other 3 races all start tomorrow.

The 52-mile race starts at 5am from the Jaws Trailhead area off of US Highway 14A.

The 32 and 18 mile races start at 6 and 10am respectively, from the Dry Fork area near Burgess Junction.


Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers won yesterday vs. a team from Lincoln, Nebraska 10-2.

That game was played in the Omaha area.

Back on Wednesday, the team was able to watch one of the College World Series games in person.

Will Greer has been to a game before and says there’s things that the Troopers can learn from there and apply it to their game.

Sheridan will play 2 games today.

At 11am, the team takes on Fargo, North Dakota, and then the team will also play Papillion, Nebraska at 1:30pm.

The Troopers will conclude their Omaha trip tomorrow with an 8:30am game vs. Watertown, South Dakota.


Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies had their 4-game win streak snapped yesterday at Washington, losing 4-3 in 11 innings, but the team did succeed in winning 3 out of 4 games in the series.

The Rocks start a 6-game homestand today with 3 vs. Arizona followed by 3 against the Dodgers.

First pitch today is scheduled for 6:40pm.

Tomorrow’s game starts at 7:10pm and Sunday’s game begins at 1:10pm.


NBA Finals: Indiana won Game 6 last night at home vs. Oklahoma City 108-91, to tie the series at 3-games each.

Game 7…the winner take all game, is scheduled for this Sunday at Oklahoma City.

Tip off is scheduled for 6pm.
