Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball team will play some of their toughest out-of-state competition between today and Saturday.

The team will play a total of 6 games in Omaha, Nebraska where the College World Series is also taking place.

Last year at this time, the Troopers went 1-6 in their games played and Avon Barney says the players did not have the heart to finish games sometimes.

Ethan Evans explains what Sheridan needs to do this week, to have a better outcome this time around compared to last year.

The Troopers play today at 12-noon vs. Wayzata, Minnesota and at 2:30pm against North Platte, Nebraska.

Tomorrow they play at 7pm vs. Lincoln.

Sheridan HS Tennis Coach Bob Faurot Retires: The Coach for the Sheridan High School Broncs and Lady Broncs has served his style of play for the last time.

Bob Faurot has announced his retirement after coaching for around 25 years with the program.

During his tenure the girls won the state championship in 2003 and 2004 and were co-champions in 2019.

He also coached Julia Fenn who became the first girl to win the #1 singles state championship, 4 years in a row.

Faurot says the big thrill he got from coaching was watching the players grow up, both on and off the court.

This past season, the Sheridan Boys finished as state runners-up.

Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies have now won 3 in a row, after winning their second straight game last night at Washington 10-6.

Game 3 of the 4-game series is today starting at 4:45pm.
