Wyoming ranchers and stockgrowers say they are concerned about what could happen to their land and lifestyle under the new 30 by 30 executive order passed by President Joe Biden.

The order is to conserve 30 percent of the US land and water by 2030, and many are wondering where the land and water that’s being referred to is.

Speaking at the Wyoming Stock Growers Association State Convention in Sheridan, Governor Mark Gordon says the Biden Administration doesn’t have much regard for the west and that Wyoming has been pushing back on a number of initiatives.

I think it’s really important that people understand how well ranchers in Wyoming do their job. We’re working a lot with USDA to make sure they respect what’s going on out here as well.

Wyoming Republican US Senator John Barasso says he’s heard a lot of concern that some families will have trouble trying to pass the ranch on to their next generation.

When you hear some of things that the Biden administration is talking about, in terms of inheritance tax, death tax, what the basis is going to be in that property, they’re worried that something that may have been in the family for 100 years, they would have to sell under some of the things that the Democrats are proposing, just to be able to pay the taxes.

A recent report from the US Interior Department says the Department will consider many farming, ranching and hunting lands as part of the 30 by 30 initiative, if they’re managed sustainably.

They should have pushed for the investigation of the 2020 massive election fraud, and then they wouldn’t have had to deal with Biden’s hate America first campaign.
