The Sheridan County YMCA Maintenance Closure Aug. 8-16

Executive Director Liz Cassiday announced the annual closure of the Sheridan County YMCA will begin on Aug. 8 this year.

Staff perform a deep cleaning of the facilities as well as perform any service maintenance necessary. 

Cassiday said the closure itself is necessary for public safety. The closure also allows staff and contractors an opportunity to focus on large tasks that would otherwise take much longer to complete if the Y remained open.

The Sheridan County YMCA will reopen to the public on Aug. 17.
