Samuel Huffman Of Sheridan HS To Play Football At Rocky Mountain College: One Sheridan High School Football Player will continue to play closer to home.

Samuel Huffman has signed a written offer of athletic aid, to play defensive tackle at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.

This past season he recorded 31 tackles and had 1 sack, to help the Broncs to their 4th straight undefeated season and 5th consecutive state championship.

Huffman says Sheridan’s success has been drawing the attention of many college coaches, and the Battlin’ Bears have been looking for a player that could bring that winning tradition over to their program.

Huffman adds he is considering majoring in business and/or accounting.

The Rocky Mountain College Football Team went 4-6 this season and had a 4-2 record in the Frontier Conference East Division.  


Sheridan Lady Hawks Amateur Hockey: The Sheridan Lady Hawks are back in action this weekend, with a 3:30pm game today and a 7:30am game tomorrow at Cody.

The boys have this weekend off from competition.


Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks play a home-and-home series this weekend vs. Rapid City.

Today’s game on the road starts at 7:05pm and tomorrow’s home game begins at 7:30pm.

The NA3HL’s 3-day Showcase Event starts one week from this coming Sunday in Minnesota.

After that the team will take a break, and won’t play again until early January.

The next home games are not scheduled until January 16th and 17th.


University of Wyoming Men’s and Women’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys are back on the court tomorrow with a home game vs. Dartmouth College.

Tip off is scheduled for 2pm and you can hear that game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls play on Sunday at Boulder, against the Colorado Lady Buffs.

Tip off for that game is scheduled for 1pm.


Denver Broncos Football: The Denver Broncos will try to extend their win streak to 10 in a row, as the team plays on Sunday at Las Vegas.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:05pm and you can hear that game LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.


Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost last night at the New York Islanders 6-3.

The Avs are next scheduled to play tomorrow at the New York Rangers and on Sunday at Philadelphia.
