Sheridan HS Boys Basketball: It takes a team effort to win a state championship in a team sport such as basketball.

Twenty-three different teams wore Sheridan Bronc jerseys since SHS last won a boys basketball state championship in 2003 and this year’s team put it all together and ended the slump.

Head Coach Jeff Martini explained what worked this time around.

This year was only the 2nd time since 2003 that the Broncs had played in the state championship game.

The other was in 2018.


Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks now know which team will be their opponent in the NA3HL Frontier Division Finals Series.

Helena defeated Great Falls last night to win their series 2-1.

The best of 3 division finals starts tomorrow, with Game 1 being played at Helena.

Game 2 is scheduled for this coming Friday in Sheridan, and if needed, the Hawks will host Game 3, which is scheduled for this coming Saturday.

The Bighorns are the 4-time defending Frontier Division Playoff Champs.


University of Wyoming Men’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys are ready to start their second season.

The Pokes are scheduled to visit Wichita State today in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament.

Tip off is scheduled for 5pm, and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.


Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost last night at home vs. Pittsburgh 7-2, which is their 3rd loss in the last 4 games.

The Avs are next scheduled to play tomorrow at home vs. Dallas.
