Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: It’s about time to play baseball in Wyoming.

The Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball Team has been practicing for some time, and just recently, players have been taking things a little more seriously, as they prepare to play games.

Last year’s Wyoming AA State Runners-Up, are scheduled to play 4 games on the road this coming weekend against both Rapid City Post 22 and Post 320.

Head Coach Austin Cowen says Sheridan has been ready for sometime, and the mild winter has played in their favor.

The Troopers home opener is scheduled for Sunday, April 19th against Miles City.

The season will be a bit different this year, as the Wyoming Legion Board have taken all AA and ‘A’ teams and grouped them into North and South Conferences, regardless of what level they’ve played at in the past.

University of Wyoming Spring Football: Practice continues as the Wyoming Cowboys enter week 3 of 5 weeks of spring practice.

The Pokes are looking for another signal caller now that Kaden Anderson has entered the transfer portal, after spending the previous 2 seasons with the brown and gold.

One of the guys with the potential to take his place is incoming redshirt senior Tyler Hughes who transferred from William and Mary.

This past season he completed more than 66% of his passes, for more than 23-hundred yards and 20 TD’s, plus he also ran for 11 scores on his own.

UW Head Coach Jay Sawvel says this guy is committed to the game, even when practice is over.

The Cowboys will practice 3 days this week and are hosting a youth clinic on Saturday.
