A Sheridan HS State Champion Wrestler is among the best in the USA.

Junior Braxten Crow recently placed 7th in the Junior 170 pound weight class at the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) Folkstyle Wrestling National Championship Tournament held in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

That finish earned him All-American honors, which goes to the top 8 in each weight class.

Crow went undefeated during the Wyoming High School season and is the Class 4A 190 pound State Champ.

He went 4-2 at the NHSACA meet, losing in the quarterfinals.

The wrestler out of West Virginia that he beat for 7th, is the same one he beat in the first round of the tournament.

The boys compete against their own grade level (freshmen vs. freshmen, sophomores vs. sophomores, etc…), while grade level is irrelevant for the girls, because there’s not as many competitors.
