Braxten Crow of Sheridan HS Wins Wrestling All-American Honors: A Sheridan HS State Champion Wrestler is among the best in the USA.

Junior Braxten Crow recently placed 7th in the Junior 170 pound weight class at the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) Folkstyle Wrestling National Championship Tournament held in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

That finish earned him All-American honors, which goes to the top 8 in each weight class.

Crow went undefeated during the Wyoming High School season and is the Class 4A 190 pound State Champ.

He went 4-2 at the NHSACA meet, losing in the quarterfinals.

The wrestler out of West Virginia that he beat for 7th, is the same one he beat in the first round of the tournament.

At the tournament, the boys compete against their own grade level, while grade level is irrelevant for the girls, because there’s not as many competitors.


Sheridan/Johnson County HS Track and Field: The Sheridan boys and girls both placed 1st in the team standings at Saturday’s Jerry Campbell Invitational held in Buffalo.

Big Horn, Tongue River, and Arvada-Clearmont competed as well.

Sheridan is scheduled to host a quad meet this coming Thursday, while Buffalo is at Worland.

Kaycee was at the Burlington Invitational back on Friday.

Sheridan/Buffalo HS Soccer: The Sheridan boys won both home games this past weekend vs. Cheyenne South and Laramie.

The Girls won at South and then played to a 3-3 tie at Laramie.

The Lady Broncs play tomorrow at Campbell County, and then both the boys and girls play on Thursday at Worland.

Buffalo split a home double-header on Friday vs. Lander, with the boys getting the win.

The Bison and Lady Bison are next scheduled to play on Thursday at Powell.

Sheridan HS Softball: Sheridan split a home double-header on Friday vs. Thunder Basin, and then lost both games on Saturday at Campbell County.

The Lady Broncs have this weekend off from competition due to the Easter Holiday and are next scheduled to play on Friday, April 10th at home vs. Natrona County.

Sheridan Mavericks Lacrosse: The Sheridan Mavericks won their home opener against the Billings JV team 11-4.

The boys are scheduled to play 2 games on Saturday in Helena, while the girls will play a pair of games in Billings.

Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies are off to an 0-3 start to the 2026 season, after losing all 3 games this past weekend at Miami, by 1 run each.

Friday’s score was 2-1, while Saturday’s and Sunday’s score was 4-3 on both days.

In Saturday’s game, TJ Rumfield hit a solo home run and Ezequiel Tovar had a 2-run shot of his own.

The Rocks start a 3-game series today at Toronto.

First pitch is scheduled for 5:07pm.


Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won a pair of home games this past weekend, first on Friday vs. Utah 135-129, and yesterday against Golden State 116-93.

The Nuggets are next scheduled to play on Wednesday at Utah.


Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost on Saturday at home vs. Winnipeg 4-2.

The Avs are next scheduled to play today at home vs. Calgary.

The puck drops at 6:30pm.
