A Sheridan High School Senior who has raised and showed livestock animals will soon learn what to look for, so she can have better showings.

Natalee Herbst has signed her college letter to learn livestock judging at Casper College.

She says she’s been showing livestock since she was 8 and has had a big passion for it.

As far as livestock judging goes, Herbst adds she recently started learning it a few years ago and plans to use the knowledge to help her in future competitions.

“Continuing on with those years, and always getting my new sets of animals and what a great opportunity to further my knowledge and getting to pick livestock animals and when I go to pick these animals I have more knowledge and understanding of what they’re supposed to look like and just better my competition and better my chances of winning and showing.”

Herbst says she is considering majoring in either animal science or dentistry.
