Eight HS Football Players From North-Central Wyoming Selected For 2025 Shrine Bowl Game

High Schools within Sheridan and Johnson Counties will be well represented at a big fund-raiser game in June.

A total of 8 players from Sheridan, Big Horn, and Buffalo High Schools were selected as part of the North Team for the 2025 Wyoming Shrine Bowl Football Game.

The game is considered an all-star game with the best players from the North, going up against the best players from the South, and it’s also a fundraiser for the Shriner’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The players are: (Seniors ONLY)

Sheridan: Kelten Crow, Ty Gilbertson, Bridger Peldo

Big Horn: Avon Barney, Kolby Butler, Will Taylor

Buffalo: Zayne Huber, Hayden Jawors

The North Team is coached by Nicc Crosby of Lovell.

The North leads the series 27-20-3, and won last year’s game.

This year’s Wyoming Shrine Bowl Football game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 14th at Natrona County High School in Casper.

Practice starts on June 7th.
