Sheridan WYO Rodeo 2025: Competition at this year’s Sheridan WYO Rodeo is underway in the slack rounds.
Last night was for steer roping and that competition will continue today at 8am.
Barrel racing slack is at 6pm today.
Tomorrow morning at 8 are the slack rounds for Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling and Breakaway Roping.
As for the rodeo performances themselves, they start at 7pm tomorrow through Saturday with the World Champion Indian Relay Races.
Pink night is Thursday and Red night is Friday.
The boot kick-off and children stick horse barrel racing event starts at 5pm today at Whitney Commons Park.

Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers swept a home conference double-header yesterday vs. Laramie.
Scores were 7-6 and 10-nothing.
In the second game Will Greer pitched a complete game 5-innings and only allowed 2 hits, while the Troopers offense took advantage of 5 errors committed by the opposition.
Sheridan has now won 6 straight all at home and Head Coach Austin Cowen says after being on the road for almost all of June, the team needed to enjoy home sweet home to get things back on track.
There has been one change to the schedule.
The Billings Scarlets have canceled Friday’s double-header, however the 406 Flyers out of Billings will take their place and it will be a single game, starting at 1pm.
On Sunday, the Troopers are scheduled to play a double-header at home vs. the Billings Royals beginning at 1pm.
Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies lost the first game of a 3-game series yesterday at Boston 9-3.
The 2-teams will play each other again today starting at 5:10pm.
This is the last week of games before the all-star break.
Rocks catcher Hunter Goodman has been named a reserve for the National League All-Star team.
The game is one week from today at Atlanta.
