Sheridan WYO Rodeo 2025: Two performances down and two to go at this year’s Sheridan WYO rodeo.
We don’t have all of the results from last night, but we will share what we have.
In the Steer Wrestling, Winsten McGraw from Colorado was the fastest, as he threw one down in 4.3 seconds.
In the Breakaway Roping, Joey Williams of Montana needed all of 2.5 seconds to finish the job.
For Team Roping, Kolby Krieger of Missouri and Michael Fortenberry of Texas threw their lassos in 4.9 seconds.
Tie-Down Roping, Tyler Boxleitner of Colorado was the only one faster than 10 seconds, as he clocked in at 9.4.
For the barrel racers, Julie Plourde of Texas and her horse turned 3 in 17 seconds flat.

Rodeo performances both tonight and tomorrow start at 7pm.
High School National Finals Rodeo 2025: The High School National Finals Rodeo starts Sunday and runs all next week in Rock Springs
Cowboys and cowgirls are guaranteed 2 runs in their respective events.
The top 20 on 2 runs combined return next Saturday night to compete in the championship short go.
Those who compete early in Round 1, will go again late in Round 2 and vice versa.
Representing North-Central Wyoming will be Kolby Smith of Sheridan in the Bull Riding.
He is scheduled to ride Tuesday evening and Thursday morning.
Bleu Butler of Big Horn is in the Goat Tying competition on Monday night and Friday morning.
James Foss is in the Reined Cow Horse competition which is Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening.
Cooper Justus of Parkman is in the same event, but his schedule is Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
Sheridan HS Football: The countdown is now on.
The 4-time defending 4A State Champ Sheridan Broncs, as well as all the other 4A High School Football teams in Wyoming, can start practice 1 month from today.
Sheridan is on a 43-game winning streak, which is the longest in Wyoming High School Football history and is currently the 5th longest active winning streak in the country.
The Broncs will play the 4-home 5-away schedule in 2025.
The first game is scheduled for Friday, August 29th at Cheyenne South.
The home opener is on Friday, September 5th vs. Thunder Basin.
Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers are back in action today, as the team hosts the 406 Flyers out of Billings for a 9-inning game, beginning at 1pm.
On Sunday, the Troopers host the Billings Royals for a double-header, also starting at 1pm.
Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies were off yesterday and will start a 3-game series today at Cincinnati.
First pitch today is scheduled for 5:10pm.
Tomorrow’s game starts at 2:10pm and Sunday’s game at 11:40am.
These are the final games before the All-Star break.
