The Sheridan Hawks are back from the break and hit the ice today and tomorrow for a 2-game series at Bozeman.

A few weeks ago, the team went 1-2 at the NA3HL Showcase Event against other 1st place teams in the league.

Sheridan Head Coach J.J. Santagata says at least one new lesson was learned that the team hasn’t had to deal with so far this season, but it came at a good time.

“Louisiana game, led by a goal with a minute left in the 3rd period, lose the game. Minnesota game, led by a goal with a minute left in the 2nd period, lose the game, so we just got to be extremely urgent when he just have to know how much time is on the clock. Situational awareness, simplify our game, so definitely learned that. That was a hard test, hard pill to swallow for us.”

The next scheduled home games for the Hawks, is in 2 weeks on Friday and Saturday, January 16th and 17th vs. Bozeman.
