Parker Treide of Sheridan HS To Play Soccer at Black Hills State Univ.: The Wyoming High School Soccer season doesn’t start until next spring, but one Sheridan High School senior has already decided where she will continue to play after the season is over.
Parker Treide has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Black Hills State University.
This past season as a junior, she scored 6 goals and had 13 assists while helping the Lady Broncs to a 15-2-1 record.
Treide says playing soccer has not only helped her improve her style of play, it has also helped her improve her style as a person.
Treide adds she is undecided on a major, but is thinking about either exercise science or political science.
Sheridan HS Football: When it comes to play calling and execution, sometimes the old phrase “no guts, no glory,” can fit in.
You might think that a gutsy call would happen later in a game, but a fake punt call in the first quarter paid off for Sheridan in their 4A State Championship win.
Breck Reed was able to get the first down on the play that started near mid-field, and the Broncs were able to continue the drive and score.
Head Coach Jeff Mowry says part of the reason behind the call was that assuming the play was successful, it would keep the Campbell County offense off the field.

Big Horn HS Football: Big Horn had to pull off a trick play or 2 and got some luck to bounce their way, but it was not enough to overcome Mountain View in the 2A State Championship Game.
The 2 main problems were that the Rams’ offense threw 3 interceptions and had no way to stop Mountain View quarterback Justus Platts who had 485 all-purpose yards for the game and was involved in all 6 touchdowns for the Buffalos.
BH Head Coach Kirk McLaughlin says he credits his players for fighting to the end.

Aaron Gordon had one as well with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
The Nuggets are next scheduled to play tomorrow at New Orleans.
