Nate Miner Of Sheridan HS Surpasses 1,000 Points On The Basketball Court
Scoring 1, 2, or 3 points at a time might not seem like much, but it adds up in the long run.
Earlier this month, Nate Miner surpassed the 1,000 point mark in his high school career.
That includes his freshman season at Buffalo.
The senior says it’s a nice goal, but he would prefer something that Sheridan hasn’t won since 2003.
“I’m not really looking at any individual success, because that comes along with winning. Focusing on winning a state championship and regional championship is what our team looks for and we’ve been a successful program, now it’s just trying to finish the job and so I think winning, all those accolades come with it.”
After the Cactus Jam tournament in Phoenix, AZ is over, the Sheridan boys have the next 2 weeks off from competition, and are next scheduled to play on Friday and Saturday January 15th and 16th, as the team starts 4A East Conference play at Cheyenne East and at Cheyenne Central.
