Samuel Huffman Of Sheridan HS To Play Football At Rocky Mountain College
One Sheridan High School Football Player will continue to play closer to home.
Samuel Huffman has signed a written offer of athletic aid, to play defensive tackle at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.
This past season he recorded 31 tackles and had 1 sack, to help the Broncs to their 4th straight undefeated season and 5th consecutive state championship.
Huffman says Sheridan’s success has been drawing the attention of many college coaches, and the Battlin’ Bears have been looking for a player that could bring that winning tradition over to their program.
“They reached out saying my grit and knowing what it takes to win and knowing how to win. They said about how great my years have been with the 3 amazing years going undefeated and stuff like that and they just said they need players and people who know how to win and that’s why they brought me in and they’ve seen how good of an athlete I’ve been.”
Huffman adds he is considering majoring in business and/or accounting.
The Rocky Mountain College Football Team went 4-6 this season and had a 4-2 record in the Frontier Conference East Division.
