U.S. officials continue to keep a watchful eye on the developing issue between Russia and Ukraine. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter recently spoke with U.S. Senator John Barrasso (WY-R) about the possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Senator Barrasso on Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Tensions continue to mount over the possible Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Associated Press reported Monday that the Kremlin accused the U.S. and the west of overhyping the prospect of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite a massive Russian troop buildup along the Ukraine border. U.S. Senator John Barrasso, in a recent interview with Sheridan Media, said Vladimir Putin cannot be trusted.

Senator Barrasso

I asked Barrasso what advice he’d have for President Biden on how to handle the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Senator Barrasso

Last week, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced that he will retire at the end of the current term, paving the way for President Biden to name his replacement. We’ll have Senator Barrasso’s reaction to the news from the high court in a future story.

How soon they all forget about Quid Pro Joe and Hunter! Our traitor-in-chief has done ZERO to benefit our country! He spouts racism and one of his BFFs was in the KKK. We need to rely on God and not politicians! I pray God will use people like Senator Barrasso to intervene on our behalf! He’s a big advocate for our veterans and military like President Trump! We were energy independent under Trump, our economy was great, Afganistan would never have happened under his watch. I could go on but I’ll quit. For now.

Unlike Trump, Biden has kept his promises. He got us out of Afghanistan, he passed the infrastructure bill (something Trump was unable to do even when the GOP controlled both legislative chambers) this bill will provide over $770 million dollars in aid to Wyoming. Through which we will improve our highways, bridges, water infrastructure, broadband coverage, airports, EV network, and help protect against forest fires.
All Trump did was cozy up to Vlad, telling the world he trusted the Russians more than American intelligence networks, and let’s not forget he stopped military aid to Ukraine which put them in the dangerous situation of being unable to defend themselves.

Am I happy that we have concluded the United State’s longest war? Yes I am. I think Afghanistan is an extremely dangerous country and we should have never been there in the first place thank you Republicans for getting us into that mire. I also shutter at the thought of Trump being in charge, Biden did the best he could in a bad situation.

Putin is a bad man, but China is the problem, john. Perhaps you, liz, and biden can get on the front lines to stop the russian scourge from invading the Ukraine. Which brings up another topic: why are you DC types more concerned about securing the Ukrainian border than the open border along the southern US?

…not very prudent…a true conservative should be more cautious…if the USA stops Nordstream 2 and places full banking sanctions on Russia now then “mad” Vlad Puddin’s opportunity costs weigh more heavily toward all out war with NATO…the USA implemented energy related tactics with Japan (oil embargo) prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor…we all know the rest of the story…NATO is stronger united not divided by added dissention among its members…

Frankly, I’d rather have U.S. troops deployed to our southern border than to address the Ukrainian border matter. And just what, pray tell, are 8,000 U.S. troops going to accomplish? Another “show of force?” Putin is probably laughing his rear end off since he knows that under the Biden “Administration” our top military brass is more focused on nonsensical wokeism crap than on national security. You defenders of Biden are really something!

The partisanship never stops even when a war with Russia could be on the table (one I can guarantee we won’t “win”). I’ve come to the conclusion that as a country we pretty much deserve whatever we get.
