COVID-19 Numbers as of 4 p.m. Sept. 8
The Wyoming Department of Health reports the state has had 3,483 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 42 deaths in the state resulting from COVID-19.
Fremont County has the most cases of any county in the state with 548 confirmed cases and 14 deaths, according to the Wyoming Department of Health.
Sheridan County has a total of 124 Lab Confirmed Positive Cases. The Wyoming Department of Health is reporting a total of 56 probable cases in Sheridan County and 129 cases recovered. Sheridan County has experienced 1 death related to the virus.
Johnson County has 22 confirmed cases, and 5 probable cases. The Wyoming Department of Health reports Johnson County has 26 cases recovered and has experienced 1 death resulting from the coronavirus.

.6% confirmed infection rate for Sheridan County and the one death we experienced was someone who doesn’t live here. Those are great numbers. I am curious what the infection rate for the cold and flu was during this same time period.
