Rita Rae Connolly

Rita Rae Connolly, 82 of Sheridan, WY passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Rita was born October 12, 1943, in Sheridan, Wyoming to James and Leila Heinz. She grew up in Sheridan. She married Robert E. Connolly on September 9, 1964, and together had three children.

Rita is preceded in death by her Parents, James and Leila Heinz, her husband Robert, and son James (Rob) Connolly.

She is survived by her son Ricky Connolly, her daughter Michelle Phelps (Sam) daughter-in-law Leann Connolly, her sisters Pat Stieh L, Jean Carey and Susan Davidson (Layne), six grandchildren, Garrett Connolly, Wayde Phelps, Carissa Connolly, Nicklos Connolly, Matthew Connolly, and Dylan Connolly. And two great-grandchildren Amaya Phelps, and Kait Connolly, and multiple adopted grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
