Congratulations Shelta and Micheal! We need more common sense trustees that will represent those who elected them to office.

I hope they remember we have an excellent School District which is the best in the state. We don’t need an overhaul of the system. Please represent the students of Sheridan as they should be!

Well! Here it starts, already, as many in this community suspected. Newly inducted board member, Shelta Rambur, immediately, showed her personal, and political agendas, and in complete reversal, of her campaign rhetoric, has no interest in representing, all students, all parents, all residents, all teachers, and all staff. Inserting on first and second reading?, her want to have no obscene books, and or, materials, in school curriculum, and or the school libraries, does not bode well, with many in this community. What she, and her followers, and others in this community, consider obscene, is not seen, or considered obscene, by many others. Freedom of Press, Freedom of Speech, those two alone alone trumps this new board members personal agenda, and or, political agendas. Many in this community recognized Rambur’s personal, and political agendas, and she showed immediately, that the “wolf in sheep’s clothing”, I’s instantly obvious, and true. What this new board member fails to understand, many of the ” we the people “, will not stand, nor tolerate, her supposed thinking, she now has power, instead of realizing, she has the people’s authority only, by election. With all due respect, if this current board even attempts to change the policy, regarding what can and cannot, be considered appropriate curriculum, and or library materials, the community groundswell , will be as equal, or larger_ than the previous attempt, made in Campbell County. The elected school board members, by a fifty percent, plus one, whether voted for by constituency, or not, represent all. Impartially, is key, and any thing less, will not be tolerated, nor condoned! Many in this community, are already, and instantaneously, suspect of this new members motives, and quite frankly, obvious personal, and political agendas, backed by other groups, in the minority, who voted for, well knowing, this board members philosophy. The sugar coating and frosting, covering her campaign rhetoric, is now in full view of the public. This newly elected board member wasted little time, showing her true colors, and is now, not to be trusted, with any matters before the board, and we have four years, as a public, to hold this member, in check. As with this members first request, before the board, and administration, she fails to understand the concept, of we the people, and our duty, and ability to redress our grievances, before our elected officials, and boards, and last, our government’s Now that we have seen, and witnessed, this members true colors, we the people, will pay closer attention, to all future board members, and meetings, and attending, to insure, the people’s authority, is not violated, disrespected, or replaced, by philosophical power. We are informed, we are watching, and will not hesitate, to make are concerns known. The old adage “don’t poke the bear”, it would be wise for this new member, to heed, and represent with total impartially, all citizens, of Sheridan, Wyoming. Enough Said.
