Big Horn Basque Club Discusses NABO 2027 Convention in Buffalo
The Bog Horn Basque Club of Buffalo will again be hosting the 2027 NABO (North American Basque Organization) Convention, and one representative came before the Buffalo City Council to give them a year’s heads-up.
Baileigh Rathcamp, representing the club, spoke to the council about what they can expect next summer.
Rothcamp was not requesting the council to approve the variance and street closure requests a year in advance, but to make the council aware of the scope of the event in 2027.
According to the Big Horn Basqe Club’s website, the 2027 NABO Convention will be July 16-19 with most events happening at the Johnson County Fairgrounds instead of Prosinski Park.
The annual convention is hosted by a different US city each year.
Buffalo has previously hosted the event in 2017, 2011, 1995, and 1988.
