Buffalo Council to Have Final Reading on Transient Merchant Ordinance

At their meeting Tuesday evening, the Buffalo City Council will have the third and final Reading on the Transient Merchant Ordinance concerning permit fees for vendors.

The Council is looking to amend city code concerning Transient Merchants and Religious or Charitable Permits section of city code to operate within the city limits.

The Council chose earlier this year to look at the permit fee schedules for itenerant vendors, who said the fees were too high.

There will be some changes to the third reading that were recommended from those attending the second reading.

Also on the agenda is consideration of a liquor license transfer request by Creekside Family Fun Center to Creekside at Duffy’s; a rezone request on a property on Fort Street to go from a B-1 Light Commercial zone to a B-2 Heavy Industrial Zone; an appointment to a city board; and an executive session concerning real estate.

The meeting will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Buffalo’s City Hall.
