The update for the Johnson County Draft Comprehensive Land Use Plan will be presented by the Planning & Zoning Commission during their regular meeting Tuesday evening.

According to County Planner Jim Waller, the Steering Committee has been working on the Comprehensive Plan for the past 20 months.

Y2 Consultants will be available on Microsoft Teams for this item.

The goal is to establish a timeline moving forward for open house meetings, future public hearings, and final recommendations.

The County Commissioners have the final action on the plan update.

Also on the Agenda is to ask for clarification and consent approval for the Planner to approve an Agriculture Exemption for Clinton and Cynthia Beaver and Ronald and Sandra Aker and 49 Ranch, LLC.

A brief discussion is scheduled for the proposed Cornerstone Addition to the City of Buffalo, with the goal to establish some guidance for Buffalo Built to ensure their addition becomes an addition.

The meeting will be Tuesday evening beginning at 5 p.m. in the Johnson County Planning Office located at 26 N. DeSmet Ave. in Buffalo.

The Meeting is open to the public.
