Sheridan Broncs Shut Out Cheyenne South To Move To 2-0 In 2021 Season

Two games and 2 shutouts for the Sheridan Bronc football team in 2021.

Carl Askins threw for 2 touchdowns, Dom Kaszas caught one, and returned 1 of 2 punts for a score, Texas Tanner ran for 2 TD’s, Steel caught the other one, Carter McComb returned the other punt, and Nahir Aguirre ran for 2 scores, as the Broncs would go up 56-0 at halftime, before taking it easy with the mercy rule in effect, for the entire 2nd half.

The Broncs now lead the series vs. the Bison 11-0 and have outscored CS 603-94 in the process.

The 56-point win ties the largest margin of victory vs. Cheyenne South.

56-point wins also happened in 2011 (62-6) and in 2019 (56-0).

This is the 3rd time that the Broncs have shut out the Bison.

Sheridan’s next game is scheduled for Friday, September 10th at Cheyenne Central.
