Sheridan Hawks Junior Team To Start 2026-27 Season At Rapid City

The Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey team opens up the 2026-27 season with games on Friday and Saturday (September 11th and 12th) at Rapid City.

The puck drops at 7:05pm for both games.

The team played an inter-squad game last week and new Head Coach Todd McIlrath says the players, both new and returning, are going to get a better idea as to who gels well with who.

“We have a bunch of very talented players, all kind of starting to lean in the same direction. Our challenge has been taking high end players from 15 different places and teams and kind of tilting that towards wearing that Hawks logo, playing Hawks hockey and thinking together as one unit.”

Sheridan plays their first 4 games on the road.

The home opener is on Friday, September 25th.
