Sheridan College Rodeo Team To Begin 2026-27 Season

The Central Rocky Mountain Region’s first competition is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 11th, 12th and 13th at Chadron State College in Nebraska.

For the Sheridan College Rodeo team, numbers are in the mid-60’s, which is about 20 more compared to this time last year.

Head Coach Bobby Harris says when it comes to practice, he’s not taking a laid back approach to things.

“We’re very structured in what we do and how we do it. We’re like a football program or any other sports program. We’re structured in how we practice. It’s not just get together and whatever. We have time frames, we have things we want to do each week, so we’re just like any other sports team. We want to be ready to go in and compete and whatever comes in front of us, we deal with it.”

The Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo, hosted by Sheridan College is scheduled to take place September 25th, 26th and 27th.
