Donors needed for Blood Drives next week

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is looking for healthy donors to contribute to the community blood drives scheduled for next week. 

The drives will be held at Best Western Sheridan Center on Monday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  

According to the hospital, donors have the power to save up to three lives with one donation. Vitalant is the sole provider of blood to Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Donors are strongly urged to schedule an appointment by going online to vitalant.org or by clicking here or calling 877-258-4825.  Walk-ins are welcome for those who can’t schedule an appointment.  

Donors can complete a health history questionnaire on the day of the drive at www.vitalant.org\health. Donors will be screened upon arrival and must wear a mask or other face covering.
