SC YMCA Offering Scholarships

The Faith Scholarship at the Sheridan County YMCA is accepting students and to qualify, students only need to explore their options of faith based communities.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Pulse, YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday said part of the Y mission is to support the physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of youth in their community.

The scholarship is intended to incentivize attending church or church youth programs with the hope that it will result in habit forming participation in a faith-based community that students then sustain into adulthood.
