JCSD1 Board Approves September Employment Report

The Johnson County School District 1 Board of Trustees approved the Employment Report for September 2026 at their recent meeting.

The report included the resignations of Corey Stoltenburg as facilities/maintenance tech, effective September 29, 2026;

Jen Mader as assistant girls soccer coach at Buffalo High School, effective immediately.

Also approved were recommendations for placement within the district schools; transitions of employees within the district: and then retirement of

Lisa Stine as a social worker at Meadowlark Elementary, effective immediately.

Recommendations in the Employment Report included: Kelsey Tobiason as instructional aide at Cloud Peak Elementary, replacing Sherry Zurcher;

Coy Morris as assistant boys basketball coach at Clear Creek Middle School, replacing Afton Chesbro; Moneta Cheser as a part-time bus driver for the district; and Denise Lindley as a special education high-needs aide, at CPES.

Transitions included: Dick Edgcomb, moving from assistant boys basketball coach to head boys basketball coach at CCMS, replacing Ross Walker; and Monica Strauser moving from food service assistant at CPES to food service lead at BHS,  replacing Nikki Chase.
