Give Your Heart to a Child Campaign begins Oct. 20

The Sheridan County YMCA will launch its annual Give Your Heart to a Child campaign Tuesday, Oct. 20, raising money to help disabled residents, children, families and seniors access YMCA memberships and activities.

Executive Director of the Sheridan County YMCA, Liz Cassiday appeared on Sheridan Media’s Pulse and said gifts of all sizes help provide a place where people can build relationships, be a part of the YMCA community, stay active, develop new skills and build confidence.

The YMCA offers swimming, youth sports, fitness classes and family programs to many people on scholarships. Those scholarships are made possible by the many people in the Sheridan region giving what they can to ensure everyone can be a part of the Y.
