County Accepts Modified USFS Grant for Sheriff Patrols

Johnson County’s Commissioners have accepted a modified grant designed to help pay for additional patrols in the Bighorn Nation Forest.

County Sheriff Rod Odenbaugh explained to the commission the grant is for $15,000 in additional funding from the US Forest Service.

Sheriff Odenbaugh said the funding could be used for equipment such as tires, medical kits, binoculars and other patrol-related items.
