Aaron PalmerResolution No. 740, which set the county’s holiday schedule for 2025 has been approved by the Johnson County Commission.
During their Tuesday meeting, the commission voted to approve the official holidays for county employees on Wednesday January 1, 2025 for New Year’s Day; Monday, January 20 for Equality Day; Monday, February 17 for President’s Day; Friday, April 15 for Good Friday; Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day; Friday, July 4 for Independence Day; Monday, September 1 for Labor Day; Monday, October 13 for Columbus Day; Tuesday, November 11 for Veteran’s Day; Thursday, November 27 for Thanksgiving Day; Friday, November 28 for Thanksgiving Holiday; and Wednesday, December 24 a half-day for Christmas Eve; Thursday, December 25 for Christmas Day; and Friday, December 26 for Christmas Holiday.
The commission voted unanimously to approve the holiday schedule for the coming year.
