Aaron PalmerIn the state races during Tuesday’s General Election, voters in Johnson County chose Barry Crago for Senate District 22 and Marilyn Connolly for House District 40.
Locally in the county races, Steve Kozisek won the seat on the Johnson County Commission, and Jackie Camino was retained as county clerk.
The two seats on Buffalo’s City Council went to incumbent Scott Madsen and Wes Haskins.
Elected to the Johnson County School Board were Daniel “Noodle” Escoz, Lynette Fox, Reed Davidson, Benito A. Maya, and McKenzie Wright.
Bob Habcock, Barbara Mueller, and Katherine “Kassie” Spiering were elected to the Cemetery District Board.
The Hospital District Board seats went to Mark Schueler and Matthew Hein.
Time Reimler and Mary Litzel were both elected to the Rural Health Care District Board.

And they wisely, again, rejected the 6% state-high sales tax.
Keeping Johnson county at a reasonable 5%. Guess we know where to shop.
Or Campbell County…or Big Horn …or any direction out of Sheridan.
Lower taxes encourage local shopping. High taxes discourage local shopping.
Lower taxes are always better.
