Sheridan Commission Appoints Muller as Viewer

Sheridan County Engineer Ken Muller, during the county commission meeting Tuesday, was considered to be appointed as the viewer on a vacation of property in the Downer Addition.

Muller will act as viewer for the vacation of Maple Avenue from 17^th Street to 16^th Street and 16^th Street from Maple Avenue to Birch Avenue in the Downer Addition.

According to information provided by the county, Muller’s duties will include compiling a report to the board of commissioners on whether the roads are required; the public and private expense of maintaining them; whether the vacations are practical; the expense of the vacations, and his judgment on whether they should or should not be vacated.

Commissioners Nick Siddle and Kristi Haswell discussed the appointment and the proposed vacation.

The commission voted to approve Muller as the viewer in the proposed vacation.
