Sheridan County YMCA will celebrate 65 years on Nov. 8

The Sheridan County YMCA has been celebrating its 65th Anniversary and the culmination is set to happen on Nov. 8.  

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of the Sheridan County YMCA, Liz Cassiday, said the Y has been holding mini events throughout this past week as the YMCA and the Sheridan community celebrate 65 years together. 

One event involved members dressing in the style of their favorite decade, another involved the showing of a movie as viewers floated in the Y pool and more. 

The week-long celebration will come to a close on Nov. 8 with a big birthday party and everyone’s invited for free.
