Ron RichterThree four year seats on the Sheridan City Council were at stake during Tuesday’s 2024 General Election. Bev Leichtnam, Steve Brantz and Jack Wood were selected as the three Council members to represent the City for the next four years. Candidate Scott Van Dorsten was the odd man out, as he did not garner enough votes needed to finish as one of the top three vote getters. Brantz was the lone candidate seeking reelection to the Council. Current Mayor Rich Bridger easily defeated his opponent Matthew Hamilton for another term in office.
The results are unofficial. The County Canvassing Board will convene on Thursday, November 7 at 8:30 am to begin the process of certifying the Sheridan County 2024 General Election results. More election results can be found here.
